#i #idk #i'm feeling some regret for account hopping fandom to fandom so much over the years and not posting my art regularly #it's so hard to not compare myself to other artists but i can't help that i have severe anxiety and burn out...#would i have already had a loyal following that genuinely cared about me?#would i have been able to live a more comfortable life working remotely and not have to do so much physical labor?#i feel like i'm wasting my life away. my potential.#people tell me to go to art school but i just don't have the time or resources to rn #i wonder if pursuing art as a career is even possible for me #i also can't help but wonder if my personality is likeable or memorable enough to even sustain that kind of thing #i'm not well-spoken nor would i make a good leader or role model #i just wanna make art #art for me and the people who get me #and i wish i could live off of that #i know i can get there some day if i keep trying and that it's ok to go at my own pace...#i just have no confidence in myself at all :(#jeri venting #I- ACCIDENTALLY POSTED THIS AHSHAASCG #whatever. i wanna practice being more vulnerable again anyway lol 😵‍💫

so some things i learned as i was doing this:

-solo cups were not invented until the 70s, so scraps has a tin can as part of her tail instead

-hoodies WERE invented in the 30s but were generally worn by warehouse workers bc of the cold. they didn’t get worn by the general public until the 70s, so toodles and cosmo are Not wearing them

-leg warmers were invented in the 40s but also didn’t get popular until the 70s so glisten’s legs get to be naked. sad !

-GASHAPONS WEREN’T INVENTED UNTIL THE 60s. GIGI SHOULDN’T EVEN EXIST HERE. BUT I DIDN’T FIND THAT OUT UNTIL I WAS DONE DRAWING ALL THIS. OOPS !!!

other than that it was just a lot of ‘put gloves and/or shoes and/or pants on them. sometimes noses’

About wukong and macaque

Both these bitches did wrong, but remember that MK saw the vision starting from the fight itself, not what happened before. He then read the chapters of the book and read that Macaque also attacked. I personally think he's mostly hurted by what Wukong did, not because it's worse of what Macaque did, but because he idolized Wukong for so long, and while he know he did so many wrongs in the past, his vision of a "hero" dissapeared in this moment. He s mostly dissapointed let's say. Of course it's not the best of things to put tour heroes on a pedal because you will always be dissapointed. I guess MK learned the lesson...

About what MK said in panel 8

Our monkey boy is remembering his own very stupid thing he sacrificied himself without trying to talk it out with the others AND using the circuit on Wukong.

About the posters

Yes they were Monkey King posters. MK ripped them immediately after the vision because he still was not sure was reality and vision and was scared.

About the eye

Because I would prefer no one dies of angst, his eye is fine, it s more like symbolism.
